Preordering “Winter Cragging”
So, You Want Pre-Orders, Eh?

Welcome everyone! As my entirely-unscientific-survey results show (see the chart to the right), it’s pretty clear that the vast majority of survey participants want some way to preorder Winter Cragging in the Canadian Rockies. Since this is my first time running a preorder like this, I’ve set it up in the following way. Please read this post in its entirety, and there will be links to the store to secure your copy of book in advance of when it’s released in mid-November.
Ordering your Pre-Order Copy
Alright, so you’re interested in pre-ordering yourself a book. All preorders will go through the Frozen Limestone Publications webstore. I’m still in the process of setting up the site, but it is complete enough that I can take orders. Click over to Guidebooks, or use the link below. The only item available for purchase as of early November is the very well-labeled PREORDER version of the guidebook. Go ahead and add a copy (or two, or three…) to your cart, and check out. That’s it, you’re done. You should receive an email with your order number and confirmation. I will be in touch when I receive the books to notify you when your order ships out to you, or to notify you of the pickup place and times.
Other Countries
The Canadian Rockies are a destination for climbers all over the world, and I hope that if you’re reading this from another country you’re interested in possibly buying my guidebook for a future trip. Unfortunately, we’re not set up to take preorders (or regular orders) and ship them outside of Canada at the moment, as I’m still in the process of working through what’s needed to export to other countries. You are very welcome to place an order for pickup, and let me know what dates you will be able to make it here. I’ll be able to hold your order until you get here.
Buyer’s Remorse
So you went ahead, preordered your copy… and then remembered that you made plans to hang up your ice tools and move to Mexico for the winter instead to climb warm rocks! Due to this, you realize that you don’t need a copy of the guidebook after all. That’s quite all right. Please send an email to info@frozenlimestone.ca with “REFUND” in the subject line as well as your order number, and we will process a refund back to the original method of payment used. We will be able to process refunds up until the items are shipped. Once they are, you will have to go through the return process.
